[Smiling] All we can say is, be careful what you say. More like we knew it. Tottenham was so ready, Burial or sack conspiracy was planned, undertakers were hired and waiting. Sissoko started the Mass, Dele Alli conducted the choir, mourners began to cry, West Ham fans began to wonder how bad the World is. But like we predicted, the gods of London came alive. They said, no sacking for Balic… Ayew, make it scrappy, quick, within 10-15 minutes, seal the win Ogbonna. Viola, it happened, West Ham won form 2 goals down. WOW… Man United fans were so happy like they won. It’s not their tie yet, but they were happy. Hmmm… the Premier League, so unpredictable #Wink.
.
.
.
- The Smiling Premier League team would be Chelsea. They didn’t ask for much. A Footbalgerian ‘Sani Kaita’ got it right. He said it would be 2-1. We even told him he was moderate. Wow… how Chelsea made his night. Football is beautiful.
.
.
- Talk of beautiful, feel Juventus and AC Milan. They threw a party, or you can say a Four-feast. They gave their opponent a one goal souvenir, how generous. OMG… Dybala blessed us with a stunning Free-kick goal. Mertens did it too. More like Free-kick was born in Serie A [remembering Pirlo]. Or should we say something is cooking in Serie A?
.
.
- No really a day Atletico Madrid would be proud of. They couldn’t sink Elche. Bayern on the other hand met a match. Even with Leipzig’s red card, they held on. Well, Bayern won on penalties. It still shows class. Top teams of this Age should be all rounded. Nice one Bayern.
.
.
.
In all, we loved today. The goals went in early, every now and then, there was some goal update and we loved it. When West Ham gave the surprise of the day, Atletico was threatened, we only could say like always, Football Football… true words would not follow. What can we say?

Good Morning Football fans,
How was your night? How is the anxiety of Chelsea fans, Tottenham faithfuls; considering what happened yesterday? Yeah, the top teams won, but they struggled? Do you think your team would have it easy of they will also struggle?
.
.
1. Chelsea had a great showing against impetuous Watford. For another time this season, Chelsea played like Champions. Maybe we already mourn for Coachless Everton… yeah, Koeman was sacked. Or, just like Leicester, Everton would play well when their coach is sacked. Let’s see how it goes.
.
.
.
2. Tottenham, oh Tottenham, you are a bad boy. Liverpool was so happy with a 7-0 defeat of Maribor, thinking to itself: yeah, we are back. Only for you to demolish them, Harry Kane sink them down. Well, the ground is still soft, let’s see how deep would be West Ham’s grave. But, West Ham can call on the London gods. This odd time they could do something. Let’s see how it goes.
.
.
.
3. The Bayern tie… we really love this one. Leipzig has been challenging in recent seasons, Bayern has returned to form with the return of Jupp. Let’s see how it goes. It should be hot.
.
.
.
4. It seems Juventus and Napoli would be the ones to battle it out for this season’s Serie A title. Inter is contesting too. Let’s see how they continue their Campaign. We love to have introduced Napoli and Inter. Serie A fans would be pleased.
.
.
.
5. Great Atletico, 1-0 is enough, sure as you win. Organization is key, sharp attack is the weapon. Let’s see how it goes tonight.
.
.
Unlike yesterday, we think top teams would dominate today. It’s just a feeling though, Football could still surprise us, make an upset. Let’s see how it goes. For those that would be expecting the Real Madrid tie, it’s for tomorrow. CHEERS EVERYONE.

Have you seen the FIFPRO list? Are you satisfied? Many already knew Ronaldo will win Player of the Year, Zidane win Coach of the year, but are you satisfied with other awards? Giroud’s Scorpion Kick that wasn’t recognized in England won the Puskas Award. Well, if you are not satisfied, there are matches to have you and take your mind off it. If you are satisfied, let’s cheer on:
.
.
1. Man United has another chance to be FOURchester again, or …
2. Man City is flying high and we can only imagine the number of goals. Wolves are not all bad and weak, the tie would be exciting.
3. Yeah, we’ve started including Inter and Valencia. Let’s see how they perform.
4. We cheer with Barcelona. Last season wasn’t theirs in terms of trophies, but this season promises.
5. Can Arsenal entertain us again with another family display? We will be most delighted.
6. Come on Dortmud… Please do shine this time.
.
.
We are minimizing words as we don’t want to have high expectations. Maybe we will talk more after the matches. Let’s see how it all goes.
Mourinho to Chelsea Fans About Conte
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho insists that he doesn't speak to Antonio Conte on a regular basis

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he doesn’t speak to Antonio Conte on a regular basis as he played down his apparent spat with the Chelsea manager.
The Chelsea boss told Mourinho to focus on his own team last week after the Portuguese coach was quoted as having commented about the Blues’ injury crisis.
Mourinho was quoted as saying that he wouldn’t “cry” about Manchester United’s injury problems unlike some other managers in the Premier League.
His comments were taken as a thinly-veiled dig at Conte, whose Chelsea side have been hit by some injuries to key players in recent weeks.
However, Mourinho has now moved clear up the misunderstanding and insists that he was not referencing the Chelsea manager with his comments.
Mourinho told a news conference at Carrington last week: “We are going to lose matches, that’s obvious, and I can imagine we are going to have even more criticism than we have now. But honestly, no problem [with the criticism].
“It’s not a motivation. It doesn’t change my mind or my stability. We work hard, we try to do the best we can and get the best possible results.
“In relation to the last match, speaking about the Champions League I would like to know – because I don’t know – when United last won two consecutive matches away?
“I would like to know the last time United won nine points from three matches in the Champions League. We are doing OK.”
Mourinho watched his Manchester United side lose their first Premier League game of the season last weekend when they were beaten 2-1 by newly-promoted Huddersfield Town.
Chelsea, meanwhile, bounced back to winning ways in the top flight by beating Watford 4-2 in a thrilling comeback win at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The two teams will go head to head in the Premier League on 5 November, when Manchester United travel to Stamford Bridge.
Ezenwa on Nice of France radar
French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa as well as Israeli clubs Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv are among the clubs now in hot pursuit of Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa.
Ezenwa
It was further learnt there are also interests from Egypt and Tunisia.
Ezenwa’s contract with FC Ifeanyiubah has expired and he has revealed he is a free player and will be open to offers.
The goalkeeper’s agent and chief executive of Johannesburg-based Gzedsports Management Company, Godwin Emmanuel, said: “Yes, it is true that some clubs are showing interests in signing Ezenwa.
“We are not surprised anyway given the favour of God on him which has granted him the grace of great performances in recent times both for club and country but particularly in the World Cup qualifiers. “I cannot disclose the names of the clubs because there are other people working behind the scene for the success of Ezenwa.
“I can only tell you that we are waiting for divine direction on the next move for Ezenwa.”
Ezenwa simply said, “I am not thinking of where my next port of call will be. I have left it in God’s holy hands.
“My concern is to play football regularly and be happy.
“I want to remain focused and I pray for fitness at all times.”
The former Flying Eagles shot stopper has risen to be the country’s No 1 in the last two months, helping Nigeria to qualify for both the 2018 World Cup in Russia as well as the CHAN in Morocco, also next year.

FIFA AWARDS. See who Rohr and Mikel voted for
FIFA in a document after Monday's FIFA Best Awards at the have revealed the player that Nigeria's national team coach Gernot Rohr and captain John Obi Mikel voted as their candidate for The Best men's player category.
Ronaldo saw off competition from Lionel Messi and Neymar to remain the only player in the world to have won the
award, after he also triumphed in its inaugural outing in January.
The Portuguese forward's victory may not have gone down well with Mikel and Rohr who both picked Barcelona and Argentina talisman Lionel Messi over the charismatic Real Madrid forward Ronaldo.
However, both men differed on their choice for the Best coach gong. While Gernot Rohr voted eventual winner Zinedine Zidane who became the first manager in the history of the Champions League to successfully defend the title, Mikel went for his former manager at Chelsea Antonio Conte - the one man many Nigerians believe orchastrated
the Nigeria international's exit from Stamford Bridge.
Ronaldo retained the prize after scoring 44 goals in 48 appearances in 2017, including 33 for Real Madrid and 11 for Portugal. The award was a perfect reward and recognition for another stellar year in which he won both the Champions League and LaLiga with Real Madrid.
The former Manchester United man collected his award at a ceremony held at the London Palladium on Monday, with fellow nominees Lionel Messi and Neymar both in the crowd.
Voting for the player and coach categories was by national team captains and managers, selected journalists and, for the first time, an online poll of fans. Each accounted for 25% of the total.

Arsenal star Giroud bags Puskas prize
Arsenal star Olivier Giroud has been crowned the 2017 Fifa Puskas award winner at the Best FIFA Awards ceremony in London.
Giroud saw off competition from Deyna Castellanos who scored from
halfway
line for Venezuela and South Africa's Oscarine Masuluke with and an overhead kick with his 'scorpion kick' for Arsenal against Crystal Palace last season.
The Gunners' forward in his acceptance speech said: "I'm delighted. I'd like to thank the people who voted for me and to congratulate the other nominees. Without my
team-mates I could not score this goal."
Zidane wins 2017 Best FIFA Men’s Coach of the Year award
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane was named the 2017 Best FIFA Men’s Coach of the Year at a ceremony at the London Palladium theatre on Monday.
The Frenchman received the award after guiding Real to both Spain’s La Liga title and Europe’s Champions League trophy last season.
Former France star Zidane was the first coach to oversee a successful defence of the European Cup in the Champions League era.
Cristiano Ronaldo Win The FIFA Best Men's Player Award
Cristiano Ronaldo is officially the best player in the world again. That's according to FIFA who today announced the Real Madrid star as a two time winner of their originally named 'the best' awards.
Last year Ronaldo beat his foe and arch nemesis Messi to the title after he helped Real Madrid win the Champions League and Portugal win the Euros in France.
In the past 12 months the former Manchester United winger helped Los Blancos win their first La Liga title in five years whilst they also became club world champions and the first team to defend the Champions League title.
At the awards, held in London, football world's organisers also announced the best women's player, best coaches, best goalkeeper, Puskas award, fair-play award and the FIFpro XI.
But it was Ronaldo who beat off Messi and PSG forward Neymar to take the main award of the evening and become a two time winner of the award:
It's expected that the 32 year-old will follow up this success by beating Messi later in the year to the Ballon d'Or. Should he do that then he will draw level with the Barcelona forward on five titles each.
'CR7' scored 42 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions for Zinedine Zidane's side last season as they cemented themselves as the best team in Europe and the world, winning three major competitions.
In World Cup qualifying for his country Ronaldo continued his incredible record and has scored 11 goals in 11 games so far for Portugal this calendar year as they qualified for the World Cup in Russia next summer.
The Best FIFPro XI has been revealed
But what will cause the most debate on the night is The Best FIFPro XI.
Mbappe The Golden Boy
Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, has won this year’s Golden Boy award, for the best player in Europe under the age of 21.
The prize is voted on by journalists from across the world, with Italian newspaper, Tuttosport, confirming the winner on Monday.
Mbappe, who has scored four goals and provided four assists in 11 games for the Ligue 1 club this season, burst onto the world stage with Monaco last season.
The 18-year-old, who has already won eight France caps, is currently on loan at Parc des Princes, and will officially join the club on a permanent basis next season, for a fee of €180 million.
Mbappe won the award ahead of Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus, Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele and Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma.
He joins a list of illustrious previous winners, including Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba and Isco.
Ronaldo to win FIFA player of the year
Cristiano Ronaldo is in line to retain his crown as FIFA men’s player of the year in London on Monday night.
The Real Madrid and Portugal superstar is up against rival Barcelona forward Lionel Messi and Paris St Germain’s Neymar for the award he won last year.
The ceremony, which takes place at the London Palladium, is the second since the FIFA award once again split from the Ballon d’Or prize.
Ronaldo has scored 44 goals for club and country so far in 2017 and scored twice in the Champions League final in June as Real retained the trophy and became European champions for a record-extending 12th time.
Messi has hit 50 goals for Barca and Argentina while Neymar, the world’s most expensive player after he left Barcelona for PSG in the summer, has 25 goals to his name for Barca, PSG and Brazil.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is up for the top men’s coach award along with Ronaldo’s Real boss Zinedine Zidane, and Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud’s scorpion kick against Crystal Palace in January has been nominated for the Puskas Award for best goal.
Castellanos is also nominated for the women’s player of the year award alongside last year’s winner Carli Lloyd of the United States and Holland’s Lieke Martens.
The winners are decided by a jury of club and international coaches, media representatives and supporters.

TALKING POINTS
.
1. City has worked its way to the top finally. They so deserve it. They are the team of the moment, the thing that has been cooking in Manchester.
.
.
2. The competition is now fierce. See 4 teams top with the same point, 5 other teams with 20 points.
.
.
3. Hmmm… It’s same points that CITY is more like Barcelona, Real Madrid more like Man United? What do these teams have in common? Guardiola and Mourinho [LOL]. Who would win the battle? Should we follow history or is this the new era?
.
.
4. The Champions are coming back – Chelsea, Juventus, Bayern, Monaco, Real Madrid all won this weekend.
.
.
5. Really impressive Valencia. We heard the pleas of some Footbalgerians, we included them. Napoli and Inter is the other teams we may start to feature, and maybe AC Milan would drop.
.
.
.
.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH STRUGGLING TEAMS?
.
From FANS COMMENTS, these are the things said to be wrong with different teams that are struggling. We may not be right, you tell what you think:
.
1. Man United – Mourinho and his defensive tactics
2. Chelsea – Kante injury and missing Costa
3. Liverpool – Defense frailties
4. Real Madrid – No harmony to bring out the best in Ronaldo
5. Atletico – Not really a good season
6. Monaco – Supermarket philosophy
7. Arsenal – Arsene Wenger
8. Bayern – Players against Ancelotti
.

What did we say in the morning?
There are some things you say and wish you were wrong. When PSG was 2-1 down our hearts pounded. We wished we didn’t talk about some disappointment for at least a team these days. We wish we didn’t mention the 2-1 jinx. When Neymar was red carded, we thought the spell was already cast. WOW… there was Cavani with the equalizer in the dying minutes. He told us, we are PSG, we make our own destiny. [#Joy&Inspiration] Football is just a beautiful game.
.
.
.
1. We Love Arsenal. Watch their Football sometimes, Love Football more. It was a whole family affair today. Something that seemed like one of those bad days, Rooney started with a wonderful outside the box goal. But Arsenal were just warming up. The family were sharing responsibilities. When they were ready, Monreal was to start the show, Sanchez will provide for Ozil to score; then Ozil provide for Lacazette to score; before Lacazette would make way for Wilshere to come provide for Ramsey; and Sanchez wraps it all off as the boss. Really nice. We loved it.
.
.
.
2. Tottenham impressed too. Many United fans clamoured, this is how United should have played Liverpool. The sting and pain was still there. We just couldn’t talk. We only enjoyed what Harry Kane was doing. Bad guy Harry Kane – 2 goals, 1 assist in a top 6 clash... #Respect. Alli and Son were the other scorers for Tottenham. Salah got the one for Liverpool. We think Salah is the best thing that has happened to Liverpool this season.
.
.
.
3. Did you guys see Juventus? We said it. Champions are back. Even with a red card from the 26th minute; just a 2-1 advantage, they went on to win 6-2, even after Udinese had equalized 2-2. There’s something called believe, confidence, the drive of a Champion. We saw it today.
.
.
.
4. Yeah, Real Madrid did it too… It’s really the return of the Champions. Madrid fans can do a half smile at least; we know it would have been complete if Ronaldo scored. But come on, young Asensio banged from Isco’s disco’s assist; then Benzema provided for the inspiring Marcelo. It was a good game to regain form. The team is coming back. Real didn’t concede this time.
.
.
.
5. AC refused to give us any moment of cheer. Maybe because of Bonucci’s red, but we wanted at least a goal to cheer. Atletico could manage a narrow margin for all 3 points. Sometimes a lone goal is the best.
.
.
.
We don’t just say it when we say we love Football. We so mean it. The way it unfolds, suspends, entertains, we love it. Thank you Footbalgerians for always being there to share with us. We would so love to give the day to Harry Kane, it was a top fixture; but Khedira shun, even as a midfielder, in a rather awkward situation. Sami Khedira of Juventus is our man of the day.

ENYEAMA RETURNS TO SUPER EAGLES
Former Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama has returned to training five months after sustaining a knee injury in action with his French club Lille.
Enyeama, who has been given a lifeline by coach Gernot Rohr to return to the senior national team he quit unceremoniously over a year ago, posted a video of his first training session on his Instagram page.
The 35-year-old 2013 Africa Cup of Nations hero looked sharp diving to the left end and right saving shots from his trainer in the video.
Enyeama also praised the Super Eagles for their hardwork and also Congratulates them for beating Zambia to qualify for the Russia 2018.
He tweeted:-
“Bravo @NGSuperEagles for the the great work Nothing good comes easy. Bravooo.”
Ronaldo Rescues Real Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo struck his first La Liga goal of the season five minutes from time to save Real Madrid from losing more ground in the title race with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Getafe on Saturday.
Real looked on course for a comfortable three points when Karim Benzema fired the visitors into a deserved half-time lead.
However, Jorge Molina's equaliser early in the second half and an incredible miss by Ronaldo left the European champions needing a late saviour.
And Ronaldo rode to the rescue and made amends for his earlier profligacy with an accurate volleyed finish into the far corner.
Victory takes Real up to second and within four points of Barcelona, who travel to Atletico Madrid later on Saturday.
"The game is 90 minutes long and we know that we can score at any moment," said Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.
"The first 10 minutes of the second-half caused us problems, but with time and patience we know we could turn the game around and that's what we did."
This video is not available in your region
Despite being shorn of Gareth Bale, Dani Carvajal and Keylor Navas through injury and illness, Zidane surprisingly left Luka Modric and Isco on the bench after their exertions on international duty and with one eye on Tuesday's Champions League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
However, that decision backfired as once again Zidane's men produced a lacklustre performance in La Liga.
Real dropped points at home to Valencia, Levante and Real Betis to allow Barcelona to open up a seven-point gap at the top of the table and even failed to find their top form in seeing off Alaves and Espanyol in recent weeks.
Part of Madrid's problem has been Ronaldo's poor league form since returning from an early season five-game suspension.
Ronaldo's first effort did at least produce a stunning save from Vicente Guaita as he drove Benzema's neat layoff goalward from the edge of the box.
Guaita was left helpless six minutes before half-time, though, when Benzema latched onto Ronaldo's pass and kept his composure to fire low into the far corner for his first league goal of the season.
Getafe had barely threatened before levelling in fortunate circumstances 11 minutes into the second half when Molina bundled home Francisco Portillo's low cross despite appearing to be in an offside position.
The equaliser awoke Real from their second-half slumber and Guaita produced another great double save to block at Ronaldo's feet before tipping Marcelo's follow-up effort over.
Ronaldo drilled a free-kick just wide, but his embarrassing moment was still to come 17 minutes from time.
With the goal at his mercy as the ball rebounded into his path from a free-kick, the Portuguese somehow skewed wide at the far post.
Zidane threw on Isco, Theo Hernandez and Borja Mayoral from the bench in the search for a winner.
And it was Isco who provided the inspiration as his through ball released Ronaldo to finally break his duck in La Liga for the season by firing into the far corner.
Getafe could still have salvaged a point in stoppage time when Mehdi Lacen's shot flew inches over with Real 'keeper Kiko Casilla stranded.
Real jump into second thanks to Sevilla's 1-0 defeat to Athletic Bilbao earlier on Saturday as Mikel Vesga got the only goal two minutes before half-time.
Kelechi Iheanacho rocks Nigeria attire to Swansea Match
Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho took to his Instagram page to share a delightful moment with both his followers and fans after his club’s first away win at Swansea today.
Leicester City beat Swansea 2-1 at Liberty Stadium, the home stadium of Swansea to claim maximum three points.
Iheanacho who didn’t score in the encounter took to his Instagram to share his joy as he dressed in his Leicester City team outfit with an Igbo traditional cap commonly won by a title holder (Ichie).
Kelechi tagged the photo “Ichie,” apparently referring to himself.
His post: “First away win today, great performance from the team #fox @ndidi25#igboboy”

Good Morning Football Lovers
Welcome to another matchday, the completion for the MatchWeekend. We are a little worried though. It seems someone usually has a bad day these days. Who it would be, we don’t know for today. Well, we wish everyone luck.
.
.
1. The Tottenham-Liverpool game would be the most exciting. It’s a Premier League top fixture. It a Pochettino-Klopp battle. How would a 7-nil winning side play a resilient Spurs? We really want to see.
.
.
2. Can Arsenal not wait till the waning moments before they score, or would Koeman tell us he can make a difference for Everton?
.
.
3. No… Real Madrid are only a shadow of themselves. We don’t have that full confidence, but for a possible 3 points. They find their way to win, just not dominating and convincing these days that Ronaldo hasn’t put foot on the goal scoring gas. Well, he opened his account, he may find his scoring form again.

4. We have confidence in PSG however. The MCN are a delight. We can only pray none is injured, but they all continue to thrill us.
.
.
5. Wake up Atletico and AC… you are more, we want more.
.
6. Crown it all Juventus. Dybala, been a while we heard about you. You can’t just do hat-tricks and then disappear. Come back on.

It’s one of those days words come short, wishes are for good action, good Football, and good excitement. Let’s see how it goes.
